Kronentor, or the crown gate, is a popular landmark of Dresden, Germany. This structure dates back to the early 18th century, and boasts of fine Italian Baroque designs and arch crowns. 

In 1728 the Dresden Zwinger was established as a place for learning and began housing scientific collections, prints, drawings, and a library. 

A magnificent example of Baroque architecture, the Wallpavillon dates back to the early 18th Century. The pavilion features beautiful sculptures and masterful artistry. The hall of the baroque pavilion on the rampart is supported by satyrs while a 6-meter (19 feet) statue of Hercules bearing the globe adorns the top of the facade. The venue frequently hosts local events, musicals, orchestras, and recitals. This landmark is the essence of the city's art and architecture and definitely should not be missed.

North of The Dresden Zwinger the Semper Gallery (1846) - a historical landmark and architectural marvel of the city dating back to the mid 19th-century. Designed by architect Gottfried Semper in the Neoclassical style, it forms a postcard perfect picture with the nearby Zwinger courtyard, Theater Square, Dresden Castle and the Semper Opera House. It is home to the Old Masters Picture Gallery which has a number of valuable paintings from the 15th to the 18th Century on display.

While in the big town square in Dresden, Germany called Neumarkt,  This is a beautiful church building in a delightful town square. The church dominates the city’s skyline and is visible from many points.

"A Beautiful Memorial" in Dresden, Germany is a bronze memorial of the celebrated priest and theologian. This memorial was created after deriving inspiration from a similar memorial in Worms. The statue was re-erected after it sustained major damage during 1945, but it always stood at the door of the famous Frauenkirche, adding charm to the church's beauty.

It was named after Duke Maurice, who had a hunting lodge built for himself near Dresden, Germany in 1542. From 1723, Augustus the Strong converted it into a magnificent baroque castle in the middle of a large pond and park.

Augustus the Strong had yet other plans with Moritzburg Castle. In 1723, major works began to convert it from a Renaissance building into a Baroque hunting and pleasure palace. Not far from Dresden, Germany.

The best Saxon craftsmen and artists collaborated in the providing the interior in the seven halls and more than 200 rooms. The entire piece of art is of great structural clarity and harmony with the landscape. After the death of Augustus the Strong, the conversion remained unfinished.

Duke Maurice of Saxony had a hunting lodge built in the Renaissance style in 1542 on a granite dome in Friedewald Forest that was rich in wildlife. Soon the castle, which later was named after him, was the center of Saxon hunting.
