On a cruise to the Southern Caribbean in the British Virgin Islands, we enjoyed a 12-night Celebrity Equinox Cruise that departed from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Visiting ports of call like; South Caribbean Islands like

St. Thomas, St. John's Antigua, Barbados, 

St. Lucia and St. Maarten.

 It's known for its beaches and snorkeling spots. Territorial capital Charlotte Amalie, founded by the Danish in the 1600s, is a busy cruise-ship port. Historic buildings include a 1679 watchtower called Blackbeard’s Castle, in reference to the area’s pirate history. On the harbor, 17th-century Fort Christian is now a local-history museum in the British Virgin Islands and South Caribbean Island. 

World-Famous Banana Daiquiri

Located on the highest point of St. Thomas, Mountain Top affords visitors stunning panoramic views of Magens Bay, St. John, the South Caribbean Island of the British Virgin Islands from its expansive observation deck. One of the first attractions on the island, Mountain Top is best known for its world famous banana daiquiri and shopping.

Magens Bay is St. Thomas' most popular beach. The  beautiful one mile stretch is a public park and was  donated to the people of the Virgin Islands.
