Livorno is a port city

Known as a charming city located on the Western coast of Tuscany, on the Ligurian Sea and is considered one of the most important port of Italy.

Like every port city, Livorno Port has always been a crossroads and melting pot of the world's cultures and owes its fascinating charm to this multiethnic aspect. Its origins date back maybe to prehistoric times, while many Etruscan and Roman remains have been found all close by.

Santa Croce

Florence, Italy

The tombs of Michelangelo, Galileo, Machiavelli, Foscolo, and Rossini make Santa Croce the Temple of Italian Glories, adding to its allure and mystique.

As for its design, the Egyptian cross style floor plan takes you on a frescoed narration of Christ.

There are sixteen family chapels that help compose the Santa Croce Basilica, considered the largest Franciscan church in the world and legend tells us that that Santa Croce was founded by St Francis himself.

The Opera del Duomo Museum

Florence, Italy

The Museum was founded in 1891 but in 2015 it was radically renovated. It is conceived as an educational path to discover the places and artists who gave life to the monumental complex of the Opera, the cradle of the Renaissance, and it is today one of the most important museums in the world, both for the value and the number of works of art kept inside, as well as for the architectural and technological avant-garde of its environments and its museographic equipment. Here are preserved the original masterpieces of art that over the course of seven centuries have decorated its monuments: from Michelangelo, to Donatello, Brunelleschi, Ghiberti and countless others.

The Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore

The Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore was completed in 1434 and is the most important landmark in Florence, Italy as well as being the fourth largest church in the world. The typical Italian Gothic building, the Cathedral of Florence, is dedicated to "Santa Maria del Fiore".

Florence's landmark Duomo (cathedral) is crowned by Brunelleschi's majestic dome — the first Renaissance dome.
