Hobson wharf was build in 1928, and has had limited maintenance completed on the sub floor structure over the years.

This historic wharf required significant work to strengthen and restore it to be fit for purpose. Located in the heart of Auckland's entertainment precinct, and the home of the Auckland Maritime Museum, communications.

We experienced and scheduled a sailing tour in New Zealand's coastal paradise, the Abel Tasman National Park. Took the opportunity to visit stunning beaches and islands before enjoying a delicious lunch.

Christchurch, known for its English heritage, is located on the east coast of New Zealand’s South Island. Flat-bottomed punts glide on the Avon River, which meanders through the city centre. On its banks are cycling paths, the green expanse of Hagley Park and Christchurch Botanic Gardens. In 2010 and 2011, earthquakes destroyed many of the historic centre's stone-built buildings.

This was one of the most epic experiences during our visit in New Zealand. It was so incredible to be in the landscape of Edoras/Rohan and feel like we were in Middle Earth  with very little to suggest human habitation in the landscape. Experienced full immersion (and the swords and axes were a nice touch!) It was one of the most beautiful places we visited on our trip to NZ, and the guide and commentary were great too.

After World War I, the community decided to build a Soldiers Memorial Hall

erected as a Memorial for the soldiers of the Road Board District.

Officially opened in 1922.

They added a community and supper room - where they served our group a wonderful lunch with wine and desert.  GREAT!!!

Fletcher House is a historic house at Broad Bay on Otago Peninsula, part of the New Zealand city of Dunedin. The house was one of the first to be built by Sir James Fletcher, the founder of one of New Zealand's biggest companies, Fletcher Construction.

We viewed penguins, fur seals, albatross in their natural environments - the way nature intended it to be.

It was a blast experiencing their unique guided wildlife adventure, traveling on an all-terrain Argo 8 wheel drive, going over the hills and through the water to witness the beauty of the land. New Zealand #157

The Otago Peninsula is home to rare yellow-eyed penguins and the world's only mainland breeding colony of royal albatross. A clever way to view these wonderful creatures is on a wildlife tour. You'll see the city from a different perspective and bring home pictures of albatrosses, penguins and fur seals. Terrific afternoon in proximity to animals native to Australia. After lunch in Merimbula, we inland to Potoroo Palace, a small, walkable animal sanctuary. The staff cared for harmed, abandoned or surrendered animals. 

What a fabulous adaptation! Much like many of our native wildlife, Jimmy the Koala has a natural double layer coat to provide him with wonderfully warm protection! The outer coat creates a barrier to stop water from absorbing down to the skin! 

What an amazing place and amazing experience. There were lots of animals around to see and interact with and the staff was informative. The kangaroos and emus were not shy at all.
